THE FISH THAT SAVED PITTSBURGH on VHS, with the legendary Dr J! That's right Julius Erving leads a great cast of characters including Kareem Abdul -Jabbar,Jonathan Winters, Meadowlark Lemon, and Flip Wilson.
This film came out in the 70's when basketball was experiencing one of its many peaks. It is a feel good movie that actually makes for a fun family film as well. This video has long been out of print so it is really hard to find even on VHS and RARE , Extremely enjoyable!
This is a must have for every Julius Erving, Jonathan Winters,Flip Wilson,Meadowlark Lemon FAN.
And if you have never seen This Movie YOU GOT TO.The Pittsburgh Pythons are the worst team in the NBA. Most of the players think the reason why they are in the cellar is because Moses Guthrie who they feel is monopolizing the spotlight. So when they walk out, the towel boy, Tyronne decides to consult with an astrologist, Mona. They in turn decide to hold open tryouts and they only select players who are born under the same zodiac sign as Guthrie, Pisces. And what they get are some weirdos but they play together, they are phenomenal. When they start winning the owner decides to rename the team the Pisces.
