I played this guitar at a benefit with Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and his comment was "great tone."
This guitar was owned by a player. The tone will attest to that. It really straitens your spine and raises eyebrows.
DETAILS: The body was professionally refinished with nitrocellulose paint, there is minor checking. There was another pickup installed in the 70s (Humbucker) but, it was removed and replaced with a period correct original 64 pickup. There are 4 small semicircular holes on the pick guard near the lead pickup from the screw wholes but, they are minimal (photo). The condition of the body is excellent, NEVER routed. There is one ding on the edge (photo). The nut is a brass replacement. I think that it sounds brighter with this mod. There are small wholes from previous tuners on back of the headstock. The tuner holes sre slightly bigger, bushings fit fine with thin shims. The case is in remarkable condition. BRIGHT WHITE and well preserved.
I’ve tried to convey everything that I know regarding the condition of the guitar. The overall condition of the guitar is excellent. It looks and plays beautifully. Someone is going to be very pleased with this instrument. All bids are final so please inquire about the guitar. Bid with confidence. My rating is 100%.
ONLY STRONG EBay bidders please.
I reserve the right to refuse any questionable bidders.
Good luck, PQ
