R2D2
The last of my life sized Star Wars displays. This is an R2 that a friend and I built from scratch. His body & legs are made from wood, sytrene & resin & cast resin details. The head is fiberglass with resin details. Many of the parts were cast from the same found items LFL used. He has NO motors or electronics added to him - but he was built with the intention of eventually adding these things. Unfortunately, I am not very skilled in that area and he has been left as a static prop display. He does have a Rockler lazy susan bearing for his neck. He has been fully "weathered" with weathering paints that could, if so desired, possibly be washed off (though I wouldn't recommend it). Due to his weigh and size I am ONLY shipping him within the USA. PLEASE don't email me asking if I'll make an exception for you on this - because I simply can not (as much as I'd like to). On Nov-22-08 at 09:42:45 PST, seller added the following information:Foot is a resin shell with wood embedded in it to accept wheels. The legs have a channel hollowed out in them for wires. The "battery packs" on his ankles are hollow w/ an access door on them. Like I said, this was made to eventually become mobile - but it never made it to that stage - until YOU buy him and finally give him life! Please help this little droid to walk...
